thats the thing, i have it as high up the riser as it will go. it wont angle back any further than i have it.
tested it today with all my gear on so i was sat how i would be on the trip. 60 mph the buffett isnt too bad, any faster and the vibrations are that bad it bloody hurts. i tried going faster to see if i got like a clear air flow. at 90 it was so bad u couldnt see propperly as it was thrashing my head around so fast.
even if i duck down to a lower height i cant seem to find any clear air. its worse with it than with out. at least the air flow at 80 is stable, it just presses on ur chest and tries to pull u off the back, which is managable.
i dont get why i cant find a clean bit of air behind the screen. isnt that the whole idea??
if u put ur hand above the speedo then theres nothing, but i cant exactly lie down all the way.
im pretty disapointed now. If i cant do something at Robin Hood on sat, ill have to leave it behind.

woah woah woah, your bike comes with a buffet? is there cheesecake?
on a more serious note, dont they do a variety of screens for sportsters? i guess you probably got the touring version, which is a bind. Maybe you could rig some kind of spacer arrangement and get a bit more clearance on it? can you change the angle/rake of it at any point to direct the air better even if its too low?
have a word with the boys at the dealership, they usually have some ideas and will help out if they can/
let me know what happens though, dad has been thinking about a screen for a while.

no wait, theres more. have u not seen the champers cabinet cunningly disguised as a 1200cc engine.
spoke to another biker across road who runs a night train (Schweeet) he says the big screens are crap, it looks like a board so what do u expect. which he has a point. the dealership ppl advised this one cos im big, so im gona go on sat and try and take it back, which will be fun

they tend to be pretty useful, whenever they mis sold to us in the past they helped out and did a refund, just go in and say that they advised you but its actually pretty useless, say your looking for a better option and can they swap it, (or just refund)
